Anyone know what kind of power adapter I'll need in Ireland for my laptop? Can't seem to find a definitive answer anywhere.

That's because they don't have electricity in Ireland. Billyireland posts by sending messages tied to carrier pigeons across the water to a mentally challenged kid in the UK, who types his posts in.

You should be looking for 220-240V adaptors. Look for the big awkward-looking three-pronged ones - none of this two slits in a wall crap for us, we like our plugs bulky.

Get one of these babies from radioshack:

Most likely your laptop will not need a power converter because it will probably say something like AC 100-240V like my power thingy does. You will just need a plug adapter:

I'm in Dublin now. Didn't think we'd make it here from Heathrow due to the heavy fog in London today. London was cool...got to see all the major sites and got to see Les Miserables from the front row . Westminster Abbey was amazing, as was the London Eye. We'll be in Dublin until Christmas Eve, and then we fly to Manchester.
Billyireland where are you??? :D :D

One funny story from London - On Wednesday we went to Westminster Abbey and before we went to do the tour we got some lunch at a pub right near it called The Red Lion. After eating, the call of nature came and I went to the bathroom. As I sat down in the stall, I looked at the door and saw a sticker that someone had partially torn off...but I could still make out what the sticker said : "Love United Hate Glazer". :D :D :D

Hey Ted, do you own those adapters. I ordered them, but they all only have two holes in the back, whilst my laptop plug-in has three prongs. How do I make these things fit?
