2. Rafael Marquez (champion with Barcelona)
3. Jared Borgetti (Worlds top goalscorer in qualifying. Top goalscorer with nt. first mexican to play in the EPL :D )
4. Landon Donovan (champion with LA galaxy)
5. Carlos Vela (Top goalscorer and champion of the U-17 World Cup)
6. Giovani Dos Santos (won the silver ball and champion of the U-17 World Cup)

If the voting is based on performence in there respective league then Mcbride would win this award hands down as he is having a great year for Fulham. The mans got 8 goals so far on a bad fulham team.

2. Stern John - In Hex, scored all four of T&T's gamewinning goals, plus game-tying goal in both of T&T's come-from-behind wins, finished joint top scorer with Kikin Fonseca.
3. Rafael Marquez - Starter for Spanish League champion Barcelona
4. Brian McBride - 14 g in Premiership
5T. Cuauhtemoc Blanco - 15 g, 14 a in Mexican League, Clausura champion
5T. Kikin Fonseca - Joint leading scorer in Hex, two goals at Confed Cup, 18 goals in Mexican League
... thought Keller and Beasley deserved mention, too, but trying not to be a homer.

stern beat kikin. stern finished second with 12 goals. then lozano with 11, and then kikin with 10 goals. in the hex kikin finished top with 6 goals.

I could care less if Adu would of been top scorer... Infact Landon has won a golden shoe yet nobody ever mentions it. You know why??? cause its a ********ing youth tournament.
Either way maybe it would of been something to be proud off considering soccer in the states only kicked off in the 90's. In Mexicos case, all you have is a youth trophy??
