I'm on the hunt for Liverpool video footage. I assume people on this board have enough of their own to perhaps put together some small reviews of different products

I'm really most focused on getting full-on game footage [preferably of pre-90, most notably 87-88]. Any highlight packages worth a look?

I haven't been too successful in seeing anything other than the usual "Goal Collections" or "FA Cup Final" or History of the Club". I plan on getting the club history DVD shortly and was curious as to what other tapes would be good buys?

Or perhaps, what games of note should I most look to find on tape? I doubt the first leg vs. Inter in '63[?] would be out there, would it?

As always, any help is appreciated.

Sidenote: What are my concerns over video compatibility? I'm in the market for a new DVD player? Where can I e-shop for one that would accomadate PAL and NTSC?

It's a great testament to his talent and legacy that the terrible song doesn't render this video unwatchable.

Oh, it's a perfectly reasonable song crabass. Don't you think you should put out a critically acclaimed record before you bitch about anybody else?

Besides, the kid who made the compilation did an absolute fantastic job.

It's a quality video, no doubt. I'm just poking fun at the cheese factor the song adds.

Will some music snobs around here come back me up? :)

I am no doubt hopelessly outnumbered... and before the calvary arrives I think I will head for the hills. :o

I thought the song captured the emotiion of Fowler's return, however, it does have a pretty strong cheese factor.

I thought the video was well made, but I'd have prefered to have more highlights of his goals, than the fades in and out of Robbie smiling in front of the camera.

Spread cheese but then I didn't get the sound on the computer.

Actually fun! I remember some of those goals. That last header was the 4th goal against the toon 1996
