Tottenham's next 4 Premiership games:

Charlton (H)
Sunderland (A)
Wigan (H)
Blackburn (H)

We should be looking for at least 9 points.

Arsenal's next 4 games:

Birmingham (A)
Bolton (H)
Liverpool (A)
Blackburn (A)

Pretty tough, and they have to go to Madrid in between Liverpool and Blackburn.

With the way Arsenal are playing at the moment, I doubt we'll have a better chance to secure 4th spot than over the next few weeks. Which makes it even more annoying that we have slumped alarmingly and are playing a striker who has less pace than my Grandfather and, come to mention it, exactly the same number of goals (ok, ok - I'll shut up about Rasiak... I promise)

Yes it is a big month.

Need to get 3 points against Charlton, its a home game and we've been on a poor run. A result there at least gets the confidence back.

Wouldn't surprise me if Gooners lost all 4 of those games, or struggled to get more than a couple of points. Birmingham are playing better and are a physical team, Blackburn, Bolton and Liverpool are top 7 teams.

They are tough looking fixtures for Arsenal, plus they play Real Madrid in the Champions League.

They have all been crucial so far, and unfortunately, Spurs have not capitalized on the opportunities. The lost points against West Ham, Villa, Fulham, Arsenal have put more emphasis on the coming weeks.

That's 8 points of margin that have been flatly given away this season. Otherwise, this stretch would be to put Arsenal out of reach, not to hopefully gain a margin for error.

From here to the end, they are all crucial, because remember that we finish @ Everton, Man Utd, @NLD, Bolton, @WHam.

Its time to find some form and really turn up the pressure. Been waiting for it to click all season...maybe it finally will.

I think Spurs and the scum have to be more concerned with Wigan, and some surging teams like Blackburn.

I think Jol wanted to get some of the negative influences out of the dressing room in the window, and a more positive atmosphere will be around the squad with players knowing they will get playing time, and its important to impress. I see Spurs going on a run. Most the teams around us are having sticky spells, and the team is too good to slump for long.

I hope its time for Huddlestone to partner King at the back.

We need to get some wins again. funny enough the game that scares me the most is Sunderland. They haven't won at home yet and only a matter of time before they do.

We have to start winning again

this also shows how important Mido is to the team. since he goes we struggle.

He's going to have to play in midfield, isn't he?

I mean, Tainio is out, Davids out, Reid out, and we've agreed (stupidly) not to play Murphy. Who does that leave us in midfield if Huddlestone plays central defense? Ghaly?

Of course, Tony Gardener is no more appealing. I guess we could give Davenport a shot. I've never seen him play much to be honest.

If Davids and Tainio can't go, Huddlestone will have to play in the midfield along with Jenas, Carrick, and Lennon. Does anyone know about Ghaly? I've seen in some places that he's available and in others that he's injured.

I'm afraid we'll be seeing Gardner in the back...

...are you insane?

At Birmingham, Sutton will bully the Arsenal back-line to the point of total and utter horror.

Bolton will probably either lose or get a well earned point. I already know big Sam's tactics on this game: (to the theme of Eye of the Tiger) "Fellas, go out there and show them our Northern grit, muscle and mushy peas."

I do agree that Arsenal don't have a hope in hell in getting any kind of result against the Pool. Plus, Fowler loves scoring against them.

And Blackburn away........need I say more?

I would hate to be an Arsenal player at the moment, especially when playing away from home. You see, Arsenal were/are one of the best sides/club in the Premiership, but at the moment, they are a sinking ship. Every team wants a piece of them and can't wait to face them on their own turf, especially Blackburn. Expect a KO in the 20th minute.

no...i'm not insane...this is my opinion and my prediction.
Bolton is a good team...no doubt..but Arsenal is at Highbury and I think that they can beat Bolton.
Vs Blackburn.....do you really think they lose???
Vs Birmingham....Birmingham isn't a fantastic team and I think they can win.

vs Liverpool.....yes yes vs Liverpool they lose

We are in sad shape at the moment... Ghaly is injured. Kelly is useless at LB and I think Tainio is more likely than Davids.

I'd say change it up and go 5-3-2 with Stalteri and Tainio pushing up. Push Lennon along the left side of the box with Jenas and Carrick on the center perimeter. With Lennon and Keane wreaking havoc on one side maybe some space opens up for Defoe.

Robinson
Stalteri, Gardner, King, Huddlestone, Tainio
Jenas, Carrick, Lennon
Defoe, Keane

Subs: Cerny, Naybet, Kelly, Jackson, Rasiak

We just have to beat Charlton at home.

Sunderland: Have to beat them, if lose or draw we might as well not bother about trying to get CL spot.

Wigan, we beat them away, i think we can win this.

Blackburn: Hard game, could see a draw. But if we have a full team we should win.

12 points from 4 games!

Full team? Before or after the Blackburn game? You just know we're coming out of the Blackburn game with at least one new injury, and a lot of dented shins.

If we have a full team for the match. Davids, Dawson, Stel, Lee, Mido all playing.

The lack of goals is a real problem at the moment. Hard to see where they are going to come from if the front pairing doesn't produce.

We are missing Mido, but I still stand by my Arsenal predictions.

The goals problem has been there all season, midfield hardly chips in. Although Jenas has 4 now. King probably has the same!

If Murphy can reproduce some of his early season passes to Bent (and send them in Defoe's direction) I see the goals flowing quite easily from now on.

But where would you play Murphy?

Who would you leave out of the midfield? Carrick? Davids? Jenas?

Shall I go on?

Ok, Tainio? Huddlestone? Ghally? Lennon?
