well 1 point is better than 0.
i saw that weidenfeller gota yellow card, was it a penalty kick after that?

It's over. 0-0. We needed that point and that has to be a real confidence booster!
However, I can't wait to see the highlights at the BVBClub. They swear that play on Gambino before halftime should have been a penalty for BVB.

Boy, that was such a crystal-clear penalty. I have never seen anything like this. IT WAS A PENALTY AND EVEN THE SCHEISSE FANS AGREED.
Plus Krstajic commited the foul and it was at least a yellow card (more of an emergency break - red card) and as he was already booked. SO IT WAS A MUST PENALTY AND EITHER YELLOW-RED OR PLAIN RED!!!!!!!!
However, looking at the whole match the draw was ok. Poor game. Schlacke was better in the first half, we dominated the second half.

I guess this referee didn't have the courage to make a call that might decide a derby match. If that is the case then he shouldn't be a Bundesliga referee. This is why I think Merk should do all derby matches.

That's what Nobby Dickel said. That it should have been a straight red card.

It still f#cking bothers me that we could have possibly had three points except for the cowardice or incompetence of a referee. Or worse yet, the cowardice AND incompetence of the referee.

Referee performances were crap this day.
At Schalke - Dortmund is was a clear penalty
and Krstajic deserved yellow-red.
At Hamburg-Bielefeld there Boulahrouz brought two players
to the doctor. He deserved red.
And at Duisburg the performance of Mr. Brych
was subsurface.

Yeah, that was a horrible non-call on Gambino. Even I as a Schalke fan can admit that!

Good that you can. Most won't. Anyhow, there's no guarantee we convert the penalty. I think the referee either just missed the call or didn't have the courage to make the call at the Arena auf Scheisse........ :mad:
Water under the bridge now. We've got to take the three points against "unser FUSSBALLGOTT" on Tuesday night.
