This weekend I had a beer called, Berliner Weiss, or something like that, that came with rasberry syrup to pour into the beer. It was surprisingly good, though it no longer tasted like beer.
Czechvar is pretty good too and Bodington's is decent.

Raspberry syrup?
It came with the beer or was provided by whomever sold you the beer?

provided by the bar. You could select raspberry syrup or woodruff syrup, but since I dont know what that is, i went with the raspberry.

I take it this is where we try to impress each other by coming up with the most obscure beers we can think of. OK, here's my favorite:

I have discovered the greatest gift of all here: every Friday, one of the stores here has a beer tasting. $3 gets you a sample of 13 beers. Each week is different. Last week was Karl Strauss and a bunch of dark beers. I'm going tomorrow and I promise a full report! :D

Hey! That cat's got good taste! I just came on here ready to extol the vitures of Fullers ESB. The finest bitter in any land! Copper color, hoppy (of course), and smooth as silk!

Anyone ever have the good fortune to go to the Great American Beer Festival in Denver? Mind blowing volumes and styles of beer...in 1 oz. portions!!

No finer beer (mass produced anyway) on the planet IMO.
