One of my wife's friends brought it back from a trip after hearing that I thought it was a good name for a girl. Anyone had it?

No finer beer (mass produced anyway) on the planet IMO.
Agreed. But it has to be on tap, IMHO. Fuller's ESB in the bottle is fairly ordinary.

But it has to be on tap,
The definition of rare here in the US, I am afraid.
Even moreso finding it hand pulled.
If a local pub were to serve this, I'd pretty much foresake all others.

When I'm home I like a drop Marston Pedigree or Thwaites, Timothy Taylor Landlord etc, etc, etc. Stateside, I've started drinking Ithaca Apricot Wheat, along with the regulars of Sierra Nevada PA, Sam Adams and Pilsner Urquell. All of which are almost as good bottled!

I think Chimay translated from Belgian to English is "Ambrosia". :D
Plus, Victory Hop Devil... pretty much all the Victory brews: Victory Lager, V-12, Hop Wallop, etc. are all yummy...

You'll never find ESB or any fuller's beer on cask in the US (or outside of england and scotland). Non pasteurized/nonforced carbonated beer spoils to quickly so it's too long of travel time for the beer to stay fresh. I learned that on my tour there last september ;) Do I get an A on the exit exam?
Berliner Weisse is really fun, when you cut it with the syrup it's about as strong as kool aid as the beer is only 2.5% abv to begin with. It's very interesting on it's own as well, very sour, though any berliner would look at you like you were crazy if you ordered it without syrup.
ahh, beer. I enjoyed several last night at my favorite local belgian beer bar The Stumbling Monk.
As such today I am experiencing:

By on cask....do you mean such that can be hand-pulled?
Because there are at least two bars here in the Atlanta area that serve it on tap. Granted their supply isn't always consistent...in that they'll go for a few months without having it...but then will have it again for several months.

Cool. I knew there was a difference between keg and cask but never knew what it was specifically.

Try to find "Dogfish Head" where you live... that's good stuff too.

It's probably not cask......but I still haven't had a better pint of Guinness (stateside that is) than when I worked on the Hill and we'd hit Irish Times after work.
Any of you D.C.; Md; NoVa people go there for the Guinness?
