Given the number of applicants, and the number of tickets, you were lucky!

I know I was lucky, I selected some games that I thought were guranteed and didn't get anything e.g Korea v Togo, but I also read that 70% of tickets have been sold. Does that mean at the start of Phase 4 tickets for most games are going to be available? I really hope I can get more tickets.

go the the fifa website
tickets
then look for a link ticketing help
and u send em an email through there
so it looks like every1 has got a response then about getting tickets?
I have not yet recieved notification from FIFA. I submitted my application at about 11pm EST on the deadline day and the order appeared to go through. I cannot recall if I recieved an auto-reply email confirming the order, however. Can anyone recall if they recieved confirmation? I am worried, as someone posted earlier, that FIFA did not get my order for 5 games.
As a response to another post, I did get a single game (ESP v. UKR in Liepzig) from my Phase 1 request for 3 games.

Yes, I got an auto-reply confirmation. I think you may have missed the deadline by about 5 hours if you waited until 11 pm EST. The going assumption (to be safe) was use CET as the deadline timezone.

Yes, they have a process for updating your passport number. Apply for your new passport right now, expediting charges get very expensive.

No idea on the second question, are you over 18? BTW, how does the AUD 178 compare to the flight or other costs? I hope to bring over an Aussie flag a friend sent us just in case I can get into one of the Oz games.

I was afraid of that and after USS pushing us to the last minute, this was where I came in--I also think that my corporate email is not letting the emails from Fifa through. I sent a help note via the Fifa website.

I need to change the guest info on my ticket package. I had I guy cancel.
I have tried to contact FIFA about changing the info with no response in three months. Does anyone have another idea how to contact them and get a response?!!

I would imagine that you can make those changes once the ticket portal opens up (supposed to be 2/1, but they're obv running behind schedule). In the meantime, relax, you got tickets. All is well.

Creditcard holder must attend. it is better to do a bank transfer if you do not have a masterard.

According to the rules the ticket applicant has to be one of the attendees. So an applicant buying three tickets can give two tickets to guests (who also must be named at the time of application).
Of course, the applicant can (in reality) also give their own ticket to somebody else to get in, it just happens to be against the rules, and the ticket will have the wrong name printed on it (and, technically, will be invalid).
I'm not sure why Jules101 thinks there is a difference depending on how you pay, maybe I'm just missing the point there.

I think the point there is that the applicant can be anyone, but a cardholder is a cardholder. In other words, hypothetical person A could be the applicant without a MC and get tickets for herself and her friend. But if her father is paying by MC then it becomes that father must also be on the application. Dad can still pay for the bank transfer, but does not need to be the applicant (I believe). Anyway it's easier to have a bank account than a MasterCard.
In the case at hand the applicant's relative is in Germany and the adult accompanying the kids, which I think is going to make things a bit more compicated, since FIFA is processing orders per household. In theory I think FIFA would want these as separate orders, but that's got to kill the chance of you getting all tickets or tickets together. I'd go with getting the tickets under Dad's name and then seeing if you can somehow transfer, within the system or not, the final ticket to German relative.
Man, it's still early, I hope that makes sense.

I'm sure that's not true, you can have different addresses for applicant and each guest. The application forms have (up to now, at least) explicitly catered for that.
