There is a huge, huge reason that I began to salivate once I heard Portugal will face our friends south of the border. Here is Why:

For 71 years the US soccer team has never beaten the Mexicans at Home and until yesterday had not scored a goal since 1984. However, this was not the main point of yesterdays predicted loss. The Fans of the Mexican team booed the American National Anthem, and chanted "Osama" while throwing small objects like trash at the American Team.

The crowd booed the U.S. national anthem and a spattering of fans chanted "Osama! Osama!" before play started, and shortly after Lewis' goal.

The deafening and rabidly nationalistic celebrations in 100,000-seat Azteca Stadium, at near capacity, didn't stop when Lavolpe was expelled for arguing in the 41st minute. He received a standing ovation from many while being escorted off the field.

About 100 people gathered for a peaceful celebration near Mexico City's Angel of Independence monument following the game. A few tried to burn a small American flag but ended up trampling on it.

This chanting Osama thing really got under my skin. I want nothing more than to have the great Lusitanos spank Mehico. Our friends of the Islamic Republic of Iran can get it to. I am pumped for this one boy. Bring them on.

Hey Nite Owl. Have you ever heard of Sarcasm?? Please dont make a fool out of yourself. I have provided you with a deffinition of the term. Read carefully, I know it might be difficult.

Sarcasm:
1. A cutting, often ironic remark intended to wound.
2. A form of wit that is marked by the use of sarcastic language and is intended to make its victim the butt of contempt or ridicule.

Where's the sarcasm?
You say you want to see Mexico beaten because someone chanted Osama, yet you are going to root for a nation that supports Osama. I call that idiocy.

The Osama chants, now that's sarcasm. ;)

No only do you not see sarcasm but you dont know how to read. I being a Portuguese-American would like to see Portugal beat Mexico for the reason that their fans were chanting "Osama" while they were here in the US. Furthermore, I stated that "our friends(sarcasm) inb the Islamic Republi of Iran can get it too. The term get it means as "a$$ whoppin".
Now, what do you not understand???? Are you saying Portugal roots for Osama. Are you f-in insane??? Where are you from??? Pluto?
I think you are mistaken here.

I asked you not to make a fool out of yourself, now go back and read carefully, dont think too hard it hurts.

WOW!!! you are really incapable of comprehending a simple conversation. I think we need a moron filter on these boards. I am not asking for Portugal to root for the US. Im asking for Portugal to beat Iran and Mexico, what are you talking about?
