Anyone can drive a Trabant, but the AMC Pacer was an unparalleled vehicle. Remember those ads with the guy making a sub sandwich in the back seat?

My wife had just gotten a blue-and-white 76 Pacer when we married in '84. It lasted until 1990, when parts got so expensive for it that every repair was $500 minimum.

dad did not want to co-sign a loan for a 82 trans am that I wanted so he gave me this. Mine was lemon yellow!! he drove it from RI to san angelo tx where I was stationed. All i had to do was pay for his air fare back,,,,,,less than 400 dollars and this baby was allllllll mine!!!
