If you're anything like me, you've been counting down the days. I've already got huge red marks over the days I’m NOT going to be disturbed and will be glued to the TV (seeing as I don’t have the means to get tickets). But getting all psyched about seeing the beautiful game on its biggest stage got me to thinking, nothing compares to the feeling of watching the World Cup. No other sporting event even gets my heart rate up the way the World Cup does. Why am I like that? I’ve played lots of sports all my life, but seeing such amazing soccer floors me every time. I may not be explaining this very well, but am I making sense? What do you think it is about soccer that affects me in this way? Am I alone in this? I’d love to hear what you think so I don’t feel like a total weirdo.

You're not alone. Every good fan of the game has been waiting four years for it. Everyone has a different way to live it, but we're all expectant at every minute of what's gonna happen in the 30 day event. I, for instance, will try and schedule a 2-week vacation I'm entitled to around the world cup. I've looking at the match schedule to decide what the best time for it is.

That is so awesome. Way to go. Your priorities are completely in the right place. You can go to work everyday. How often do you get to live? Obviously I've always wanted to go, but been stuck at home. I usually watch it with my club, so we totally get into it. I spend most of the time at the edge of the seat, with a lot of yelling and jaw dropping. Have you been before?

No, I've never been there, although I've been close to where it's been celebrated.
Your priorities are completely in the right place.LOL. I do have a life, but your enthusiasm is remarkable. I hope you enjoy this world cup, just like I am enjoying it already.

Nothing comes close to the World Cup. When a country's playing in the world cup, the whole country comes to a standstill. The streets are deserted, people congregate in squares watching TVs, the pubs are packed. The Olympics doesn't that affect. Nothing does.
