So Chelsea drop points at home against Charlton with a 1-1 draw. Not that it'll help us. I guess it is "good" to see Spurs only gain a point on us this weekend. Now to see if Pool and ManU can draw too. That would've made this a good weekend if we hadn't let Everton outplay us. Oh well.

Anyway, I'm thinking of keeping this thread around so that people can post their thoughts on other teams without starting threads that giveaway the results by just existing.
Before you ask, I'm not stealing this idea from anywhere. ;)

Before you ask, I'm not stealing this idea from anywhere. ;)I felt this from the begining of the season & it's too bad Liverpool had such a bad start (1W/4D/1L), but I'm hoping they can beat ManU today & maybe make things difficult enough for Chelsea that Mourjackass stops farting out of his mouth.

Who am I kidding....that's never going to happen.

FART AWAY, JOSE!:D

P.S. This is obviously with respect to who I would rather see finish first between the two. I'll be cheering on Liverpool today, as I don't think we have a chance of catching them given our away form. ManU seems more plausable a target for us.

Late goal by Ferdinand. Looks like United will nick it.

Late goal by Ferdinand. Looks like United will nick it.Well in that case, we have to hope that Liverpool begins to fade. I'm hoping that the number of games catches up to them but I think their playing style will allow them to cope with more fatigue than some other clubs (like ours for example). I just don't want 3 of the four CL spots to be all but decided in the next month or so leaving the rest fighting for the last spot.

We're 7 points back of Pool and they have a game in hand. I'm confident it will be Chelsea, ManU, Pool in the top three, and if Sp*rs fade like they usually do, I don't think it'll be too hard to get 4th.
Although we could always just get 5th and nick the CL :D.

Fcuking zonal marking lets Ferdinand in for a wide open header.
Cisse was horrible. Why is he going up for the same headers as Crouch? Does he not understand the simple dynamic of the big man/fast man strike pairing? Idiot.

I think he figured that Crouch hasn't hit one all year, so he might as well give it a shot.

Seriously, though, I think Cisse's much better off the bench. He seems to provide a spark for them from there. He seems to take it a little easy if he starts.

i have only seen a handful of liverpool games but cisse reminds me of hasselbank in his prime minus the accuracy. the people in row z are in danger when he shoots.
IF cisse harnesses his shooting ability i think liverpool can challenge chelsea.

Marcus Bent had a hell of a debut with Charlton. Glad to see him pip one against the Chavs.

ManU winning is actualy more advantagous than a 0-0 draw. ManU will eventually drop 3 points against some other team, while the momentum Liverpool have been developing is more dangerous.

West Ham up 2-0 at home to Fulham.

Etherington with an assist on the 2nd gets me some fantasy points!

Also a report of a bust up in the tunnel as they left the field. interesting. I'm hoping for Rooney, RVN, and Rio red card. ;) :D
