Mills boon for City
By Graeme Bailey - Created on 31 Jan 2006
Manchester City have completed the signing of Matthew Mills from Southampton.
The 19-year-old defender has penned a three-and-a-half year deal after the two clubs agreed on a suitable package.
Mills now gets the chance to link-up again with City reserve team boss Steve Wigley - who played a major role in guiding him through the youth ranks at St Mary's.
The England Under-21 international becomes City's second signing in the space of 24 hours after they sealed the capture of Greek striker Georgios Samaras on Monday.

A promising signing :) Perhaps we might sign a midfielder in the closing hours of the transfer window.
