The US is ranked 4th. Anyone, ANYONE, who believes that the US is the 4th best team in the world, is taking better drugs than me, and not sharing. I love the USMNT, but come on.... :rolleyes:

Yea, I know, just like pre-season football games. It just still strikes me as wierd how they can compile these rankings which are not based on reality.

What's amusing about that list is the US and czech's are the only 2 on the list without a seed in the world cup...

I have to admit that I will be using these rankings to coax my family and friends into watching the World Cup: "OMG, the US is so good, better than we've ever been, we have a real chance to win. I'm not making this up, check out these FIFA rankings . . . " I'm using it. :cool:

Damn those Mexicans.
I hope FIFA realizes that if the USA get past the second round again (tough tough though it will be) they will be the number one (maybe 2) team in the world in 2 years.
Which really may not be that far off if we do get past the second round.:cool:
