Nothing wrong with a good beer or 10 on the weekends IMO, I don't like these ********ing frat guys that get drunk every night of the week, but hey its there choice to have a 1.0.
I definatelly would not drink before 16 or so.. I don't ebelive all that shit about mental damage (although probably true :D) before 21. But at 16 you definatelly are still growing.. I haven't grown since I was in 9th grade. :(
Definitely agreed on not wanting to be one of the frat guys, morons getting drunk on Wednesday nights and not getting up until 3...
It's sort of a fine line. I just think that there isn't much point in having a rule that prevents the majority of people in college from drinking legally. They're going to get it anyways, so why devote so much time and energy to cracking down?

I hope this doesn't backfire on me, or my facebook. :mad: Apparentlly some smaller colleges used facebook to arrest some underage drinking kids!!!

As long as you don't have pictures of yourself with alcohol, I don't think there's anything they can do.

They might have to arrest the entire UC-Santa Barbara, San Diego State, and Arizona State student bodies then.

I think that goes unsaid for at the very least any public university in the US, and countless other private ones in the "Pepperdine mold"...

Wow lads... wow. I'm just back from the college ball dealy; great laugh.But when I was about to grab a taxi about 2 hours back, a 24 y/o secretary who is pretty sexy asked me if I wanted to gto for a few drinks in the residents bar, so I obliged. I'll just say this... I had a great time. :D

These picks are about a month old, when I was clean-shaven, I look about 12 :D. Cultivating a fluffly beard at the mo' - the secretary was sure I was at least 25. :p

As a former frat boy, I don't understand what is wrong with drinking on Wednesday nights and waking up a three the next day. You only get four years to live like a moron so you have to take advantage.
Kids in high school should seriously say no to drugs and alcohol. I don't trust them to drink in moderation and there's nothing good that can come out of excess at that age. I'd hate to see one of you young guys as an insert in the yearbook, "In Memory Of".
For college kids, say no to drugs, except pot. Smoke as much pot as you want. Smoke more than you drink. Smoke, smoke, smoke. Take advantage of pot's quasi-legal existence in college. You'll have the rest of your life to be a drunk but you can't go through life as a stoner, unless you become a snowboard instructor or something.
Finally, if you're in high school, don't have intercourse. Everything else is okay but hold of on intercourse. Why? Because you don't want a baby. You can still get the happy ending and all that you lose is bragging rights with your friends. Of course, if you have to have sex, follow Uncle Jayro's advice, wear a condom. (This can sometimes help prolong things. ;) )

Theres nothing wrong with getting drunk every night of the week, but I'm just saying I don't do it and would not recommend it for anyone that wants to keep above a 2.5 (at least in my field) as it is not easy you have to keep on top of things (studying and otherwise..) in order to have a good college career IMHO.

There was a good one month period where I didn't even see the sun, apart from sunrise and sunset. Beer was a very good friend of mine, and since our house bought by the pallette, we'd get great deals on the finest brew, Jacob Best, Schlitz, Meister Brau, Golden Anniversary, Natty Light, etc.
And to quote the late, great, Biggie, "Smokin blunts was a daily routine.." :D
