the drinking age was pushed down to 13 didnt you hear?

but seriously, it kinda sucks how everyone is drinking i dont do it as much as people i know do but drinking and drugs is a large problem in massachusetts, the kids are all on drugs out here, and unfortunitly give into peer pressure often. i stay clear for most of the time but there are always lapses in everyones thinking

Ya, I've learned from highschool there are really 3 different groups..the "nerds"..the "Casual partiers" and "the hardcore get wasted every goddamn weekend partiers" most people are casual partiers..and were gona have a lot of problem with the hard core partiers in the future, bc if their 16 already doing that..then think how they'll be when their 21..but most of us are gonna be fine...

Personally I know plenty of kids who drank loads in high school and turned out just fine. I didn't really get started until towards the end of high school and into college. If anything, the drinking age needs to be lowered to 18 so you don't have all these sheltered kids arriving at college and having no idea of the effects of alcohol or what their personal limits are. Out of the freshman who drop out, a significant number are due to alcohol-related problems. A lower drinking age wouldn't solve that itself, but it would help a lot of the kids who succumb to the scenario I described.

hey teso we dont have prom

ps. what the hell do you mean

No prom? Meh, it was a comment made in jest anyway. What do I mean in relation to what?

new details- tomorrow im going to a party with her, maybs she'll get drunk except i'll probs do that before she would :o

anyways what do i do then? should i do anything specific except for just hang out with her

Party! Getting drunk before her? Shocking. More practise needed. What should you do? Don't do anything you could get jail time for, but stick with her and make sure she's fine.

you're 15 and you're already getting drunk?

When did you start? 15 is probably the average in most places.

Uncle Teso says no to drugs kids.

Ditto here. And even then, it was nothing extreme. Didn't ever get too wasted until sophomore year of college.

no but there's a pattern here, along with the shittier education, things aren't going to turn out as you think.

yea I noticed, and with all the shit its causing to people who are already drinking, it's beyond me how others still choose to follow in their footsteps, Yea I know, life sucks and you gotta find ways of transcending your frustrations, but in the end you just gotta suck it up and make a smart decision.

Nothing wrong with a good beer or 10 on the weekends IMO, I don't like these ********ing frat guys that get drunk every night of the week, but hey its there choice to have a 1.0.

I definatelly would not drink before 16 or so.. I don't ebelive all that shit about mental damage (although probably true :D) before 21. But at 16 you definatelly are still growing.. I haven't grown since I was in 9th grade. :(
