Smoking them.... now there's an idea! I've just been sprinkling them on my breakfast cereal all these years!

Best thing to come out of Ireland besides Roy Keane.

I've got tickets to go see Broken Social Scene, Feist, and Bloc Party at Olympic Island in Toronto for June 24th. For those of you who have never heard of Broken Social Scene they are a very good Canadian indie rock band. They have a very unique sound, I love them personally. And Feist (who is also in Broken Social Scene) is just one female singer named Leslie Feist. Her music is pretty good as well. The show is going to be amazing. it's like an all day festival and you need to take a ferry to get to the concert. I can't wait.

Oh wow, that'll be a great show. I've gotten into some of Feist's stuff, she's got a great sound. Bloc Party are big these days too, that's a very solid album.

Yet I got slated by the very same guys on the Music, TV & Movies board - many of whom these days claim to love them - for recommending them well over a year back, because "it's more of that NME bollox."

(for the record, I've never even read NME and don't have any opinion - good or bad - on it)

Guess I'm listening to the music from Polanski's 'Repulsion' right now . Only found out a few hours ago that I have a paper about it due tomorrow, which I thought wasn't due for 10 more days.

I have a grand total of 1 NME magazines. It's alright if you love any rock music British. I found out about Bloc Party and the Arctic Monkeys from them. The mag itself is okay. It's definitely not what we're used to on this side of the pond. It's like a scrap book of sorts. They have some good articles though. Their ratings are bit off. For example Arctic Monkeys debut album got 10 out of 10, which is not surprising if you know how NME rates music; if you're British, in rock music, and have good PR than you're set for at least an 8 out of 10. I like it better than Rolling Stone though.
