This shit always pisses me off.. You see these kids wearing Ramones, Zeppelin, Doors etc.. T-shirts yet they've never heard of Jim Morrison.. I mean come on Who the ******** do you think the guy on your shirt is..

It makes me want to punch someone...

How about all the posers who hang out in front of CBGBs? We should punch a bunch of them on our way from Nevada Smiths to Katz next month.

Set it up in Atlanta. Then I'll convince my wife that that is the perfect weekend for us to go back to Atlanta to visit our friends. I'll sell it to her as a coincidence.

With regards to that whole Clash/Beatles argument... Led Zeppelin > the world. Pink Floyd > Led Zeppelin.

Don't diss the Zeppelin, or I'll have to "get out the llleeeeeeeeedddddd" (who was it made a joke on DJ's saying that? Hilarious stuff).

I also forgot the mention The Who...

Hehe, believe me I got nothing against the Zep. Good band, nerd appeal as they may have.

For me though it'll always be U2 uber alles.

uber alles.

Yeah, the last two albums have suffered from a bit of the need to get back into the mainstream. Still better than most crap that falls into the mainstream though.

Of course I liked Pop. Not so much for Zooropa, though it had some good tunes (Stay is just amazing).

Radiohead really got it right on OK Computer and The Bends. Those are just stunning albums. Then came Kid A, and it was good but like they were trying too hard to change things up. They lost me with Amnesiac, but then got me back in with Hail To The Thief. I think they have some upcoming stuff this year. I was sort of pissed that I had to go all the way to Wisconsin to see them because they wouldn't play any venues in the Chicago area.
