Thats the silliest thing you've posted since your "lebron is better than mj" idea.

haha im telling you lebron WILL be better then mj. :D (dont think i hate mj, he was a childhood idol of mine growing up as every kid my age)
i just like the clash a hell of a lot better and feel like i have to rep. the beach boys since im a californian. There is this feeling in people who grew up in southern california during that time period (my dad) who feel like they have to represent the home town boys (the beach boys) that was always drilled into me lol

Right now im listening to bands such as Editors, Bloc Party, Controller.Controller, Broken Social Scene, and I'm waiting very eagerly for the new Muse album which is due out in May. Greatest Live band I've ever seen in my short 17 year life.

In truth, the Beatles are about the top 5 most important things to ever happen to music. Clash? Just lead to this shit like Fall Out Boy and that crap on the radio now.

What the hell are you on? You still are a kid, you're growing up with LeBron, not MJ.
and your Beatles comment was silly, I suggest you listen to them and appreciate them before you make any comment like that. If it weren't for the beatles, the clash wouldn't exist.

Please don't ever use The Clash and Fall out Boy in the same sentence again. Those pseudo-emo bands are just an excuse for suburbian 13-15 year olds to act as if they know punk music. The Clash is one of the most influential bands of all time. Probably one of the smartes punk-rock bands in history as far as their lyrics and political stance goes. Fall Out Boy are just some pansy assed excuse to the commercial shit music that gets pumped into our radio every damn day.

Yes.. I know they are influential, I even like them. But THANKS to them being influential on the 'punk rock scene' we have what we have today on the radio. Thats what I am saying.

Bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Green day, Sound Garden, RHCP. Bands like Fall Out Boy probably don't even know who The Clash are, or if they did they certainley don't have any respect for them with the shit they play if they were to claim The Clash as a band that influenced them.

dude dont get me wrong, im just not a big beatles fan. There is no point denying them being one of the biggest bands ever. I just happen to like the clash better.
and on mj- I was grately influenced by mj when i was little. One of the images i'll never forget was when he made that jump shot against indiana. He was the greatest ever. (my lebron case is numbers wise) I dont think anyone will measure up to what mj did.

thats a ridiculous argument to hang onto. In the same respect, you might as well criticize the beatles because they influenced everything that came after. In any event, you cannot blame the originator for the bad things that come after them.

good to see a 17 year old being with this mindset, you come to NYC and you'll see teens dressing in Misfits, the clash shirts but not knowing who the hell they were or what they did.
