Yes. I'm in an out of it time right now and don't listen to it much but last semester I listened to that type of stuff alot. Mostly ambient and house.

Right on, There's a few good dj's/groups that I've heard about recently. Erol Alkan, Justice, Ratatat make some very good stuff. Erol Alkan is known for produciing remixes of some fairly large bands. He actually re-did a few of Death From Above 1979's stuff (If you know of them you know how heavy and loud they are) and made it very good to dance to.

I've really gotten out of the scene in a while. But Tesos is the man about these things.

I know this may make me sound like a **********, but I like Lily Allen. I think her music is good. Once in a blue moon you'll get a good pop artist and she is one of them. She has a very nice, soothing voice and her music is influenced heavily by ska, raggae, and hip-hop. And she's not the average pop singer either she has a major edge to her. She's not shy to speak her mouth about anything. Anyways, I like her, make of that what you will.

Juelz Santana is one of the only "mainstream" rappers that i like at all.
Good on you.

The Games mixtape was so shit. So garbage. Got such bad reviews from the streets that he ended up pushing his actual albums release date to November 7th....

Although, The Black Wall Street Mixtape is a classic. He made up on that one.

True I just like Game because I hate G-Unit im not big into his songs tho he has droppped a few good ones. He's too hardcore for me. I'm more into Outkast and groups like that.

G-Unit is dirty though. Hands up is a beautiful single for Lloyd Banks. Was a street banger a couple weeks ago and out of no where they turned it into a single.

I just got the Kasabian live at Brixton Academy album. Good stuff, I really hope they tour near me once their new album is out.

I was thinking of getting that, Kasabian is one of my favorite new bands. I saw two videos of it, sounded and looked great. Worth it?

Well I didn't pay for it, but yeah I enjoy it. It's basically their first (and only) album and one or two songs not from the album. They sound quite good live, and the lead singer swears a lot. :)
If you got some cash burning a hole in your wallet, then yeah, well worth it.

There ya go.

Also, not on topic for this thread, but my school library has the V for Vendetta graphic novel on order. Since you were so enthused about it, i'll be giving it a read when it arrives. I'm looking forward to it.

Oh and btw, Club Foot is bonkers live.
