That's good to hear. Some people seem to think the MLS coming to Canada is bad for it, but then there are people like you who are not only open to the concept, but are willing to take the team on as their own.
i really don't see the problem with mls in canada. every other major sport in the us save the nfl has teams in canada. and with the exception of the hockey teams they all suck ;) . but from the times ive been to canada, there seems to be more soccer related stuff in the news, (epl and the like actually getting coverage from teh mainstream) that makes me think that this could be succesful. im not sure about how mls changes the rules for a canadien team though, i thought there were limits to non -american players for each team, im assuming they'll change it to canadian(or canadian and american?). oh well im looking forward to them next year. it will be nice to actually be able to support a team in mls, rather then just being a casual fan.

Much, but I'm sure if Segal used Master P instead of DMX in that Exit Wounds movie, I'm sure it would have given "Da Last Don" a good run for the money.

A band from around the area I live is startign to make it big. They've been getting their latest tune "Heaters" played on the 102.1 The Edge (1 of the most listened to new rock stations in the world). They're also playing at the Molson Amphitheatre for Edgefest 2 ( a big music fest at a big outdoor venue). The band's name is Ill Scarlett and if you like Sublime and Re Hot Chilli Peppers and htose types of rock/dub/ska bands then I suggest you give them a listen. Listen to the song "Heaters" first. KASABIAN rules, saw live footage from Rock in Rio, good stuff. Right now I'm listening to the new MUSE album, among other things like GnR, Bad Religion, and Pantera!

not too impressive at first listen. I mean they're still trying to be as progressive as possible but for some of the songs it just doesn't work. It's definitely not better than their last outting.

So ummm...the concert last night was UN-********ING-REAL!!!! OMG one of the best shows I have ever seen in my life. Bloc Party were incredible, Feist was magnificent, and Broken Social Scene...well lets just say they put on a show loud enough to wake up the city of Toronto. $50.00 that I would gladly spend again.
