I see that when Chris is on the field, his teammates dont seem to find him to give him the ball. Now, he does showboat, but he has really toned it down from when he first joined man u because I think he saw that his teammates not likeing him showing off. Does anyone else feel this way? That his teammates dont like him and dont want him on the field.

Now, he did extend his contract in 2005, but do you think his career at Man U is short lived?

Just because you dont like someone doesnt mean that you dont pass to him on a football field. You pass to whoever.

It's more likely they don't pass to him because he's a lightweight showpony. Something United in their current pallid state can't really afford. When you've got no midfield, you tend to be wary of giving the ball away, which Ronaldo is better at than any other footballing action.

Arf ... he just thinks it's babes. It's usually Phil Neville.

it all went downhill when it emerged on portugese radio that it was Ronaldo who coined Ferdinand's nickname "Rowlf" on account of his lack of lips and dog like features.

I think some of the senior players are irritated with him. Keano cited Ronaldo's attitude/performance as one of the reasons he was leaving IIRC, and van Nistelrooy ripped into him during training the other day.

I'm not sure it has as much to do with showing off as it has to do with sucking.

If he is so disliked, why did he just sign a new contract? The Manu team is generally struggling to find form, and Ronaldo hasw had an up and down time, his father dies, he was falsely accused of rape, he has had a couple of injuries and then a suspension, these are more likely explanations for his up and down form, not forgetting that he is barely out of his teens.

C.Ronaldo is the only player i have ever hoped he would brake both of his legs.

And I'm a nice guy, can you imagine?

he does showbaoat at the wrong time. sometimes he just needs to cross the ball with the first are second touch. when he does that i find him to be a better player. and i do feel that a striker would not like his showboating then crossing the ball because the striker can not time his run. also he does kick the ball out of bounds to much.

I think that he will get better as he gets older.

I know from personal experience that it's not always a joy playing striker with someone as unpredictable as Ronaldo on the wings. Hopefully with time and proper guidance he'll become a truly great player.
