No sam better get his act together or let Borgetti free
Lets not over react . I too first thought it was a joke Borgetti didnt start , but lets remember theres 2 games this week. Plus its better for Borgetti to rest so he can be at his full poitential on saturday . If he doesnt start on Saturday then its a whole different story

Honestly, this is stupid. Borgetti has finally gotten use to the English game, and was playing at his highest level; Sam is an idiot.
great intelligent post

It may not have been the best way to say it, but how do you expect a player to keep his form up if he isn't given any playing time?

Borgetti's on the bench again.
To be honest I'm really surprised that he didn't request a transfer in january, I wonder if he got suckered because he started a couple of games?
Needless to say that when Diouf comes back from the ANC he won't even get a place on the bench as he's behind Davies, Diouf, Vaz Ta and now Jansen.
Poor lad, at least he'll be fresh for Mexico in the WC.... very fresh.

53 mins: Borgetti on for the injured Davies, who appears to have taken on a knock on an ankle.

THIS IS SO FVKING ABSURD......... Is unbelievable they dont give a killer instict animal goal scorer a chance. Who the hell puts Jensen he's still cripppled up from his motorcyle accident. Prenn disagree with Jensen you at this game vs WIgan hes positioned as a mid fielder even though hes a forward , Borgetti is not a mid fielder and does not play he only plays center forward, which hes a top scorer .

i saw the replay of the game. he had two good chances to score with two headers. one he hit the post and the other barely missed. he played alright for those 40 minutes.

Borgetti played superbly , , he couldnt have played any better. That chance he had with the header was so close :(, but the keeper had good insticts . After Borgetti was broughht in Bolton surely changed and atatcked more. At the end of the game also Borgetti was robbed with an offside play, which he wasnt offside , most likely costing Bolton a goal plus costing Bolton the tie, b/c after that play Wigan counter attcked creating a foul causing thier goal.

I agree Borgetti played excellent today... I have no idea why that Jansen guy started instead... he touched the ball like 2 times in all the first half. I hope Allerdyce realized his mistake and starts Borgetti one more time before Diouf gets back.

I may sound harsh and inconsiderate, But im kind of glad Kevin Davies will most likely be out for 2 weeks recovering from his injury in today's game, is unfortuante I have to see to this last alternative , but with Sam Alleredyce 's bad decisions on Borgetii leaves me no choice. . I was honestly shocked at Jensen starting, I would have given the starting position to Vaz Tes even though would probably have to take him out in 2nd half due to his stamina, Jensen basiclaly didnt do squat in the game. Now back to Borgetti , this will give Borgetti playing time and for once shut up Allerdyce. Kevin Davies has a poor record scoring goals only 2 in the League, but he does complement well in midfield, but i nthe other hand Borgetti is a top goal scorer who will give you goals and has sure hell done great in his work effor and helping the Mid's .

Bolton's back kill the game, they made a stupid fault which was the goal, and made a lot of mistakes, just kicking the ball anywhere.
Borgetti was open many times ( plus the so call offline which wasen't) and his teammates did't pass the ball. They need to play him more on the air than on the ground.
Overall , he did a great game. He fight, defend, try to score twice, and won most of the airballs.
