Is "Jr. Member" the latest euphemism for "witless newbie" we're trying out around here now?

Don't think so sunshine. I want to see goals, saves and last ditch tackling. What I don't want to watch is a team passing the ball in front of the box and achieving nothing.

Bingo they may play pretty football but if your Bolton or us if you dont have brazilians dont try to play like brazil. We carnt afford to pay the money Arsenal do for the attractive players out there so we have to make do with what we have. Although i think youll find that if you saw the Everton v Arsenal match you would see that for large parts of the game we mixed physical and skillfull together.

A good point, though, to be more accurate, it should be said that they are not the great team they were a few seasons ago.

If only they had Francis 'fox-in-the-box' Jeffers.

Yeah looking at the way they played Man Utd, and other draws this year there a pretty boring team. Dont let the 7-0 score fool you, Arse dont have much going for them right now.

Its called a transition phase, liverpool were supposed to be going through the same thing last year, then they pulled the champions league out of their behinds, they went through it in the epl.

Arsenal aren't a the great team. They are about equal with Bolton. So no surprise they get beatin.

What i'd expect from a spurs fan, more mindless babble, the only reason we look on par with physical teams such as bolton away from home is because we lack the physical presence in midfield to fight back.

If we had that physical presence(vieira) i am am 100% certain that arsenal would be a much better team and you wouldnt be say this, you would have to find some other way to imagining spurs being the better north london outfit.

Yeah, they've only had the highest number of goals scored the last three EPL seasons.

that may be true, but this season they play for draws ex. manchester united match, and they beat a team 7-0 that certainly helps them out there

Which just gives more evidence that they aren't what they used to be.

Indeed. But the 'passing the ball around the box and not shooting' is something they were criticized (by British, anyway. Because passing the ball intelligently doesn't fit with the UK style of play) for when they were scoring a huge amount of goals. Now they don't even really get a chance to play around the opponent's box, and are starting to look like a typical English club.

I believe he's trying to say, Arsenal when we were succesful (relatively speaking ofcourse:D ) were criticized for playing non-typical english football. lots of long balls, cross field passes, etc etc. Now that we are unable to play said football, due to loss of key players, respect, fear...we look just like the typical UK squad of players.

You are just proving your own ignorance. We have some of the most highly regarded youngsters in the world right now. Probably the most promising team in the world.

I'm sorry, but I am not letting that one slip. You have Walcott and Cesc. That is it. Without beating around the bush, Man Utd have Rooney, Ronaldo, Rossi, Jones and Pique. Add to that the best reserve and youth sides in the country. Now who is ignorant?

I don't wan't to get into who has the better youngsters. After all Rossi, Jones and Pique have done nothing in the Prem, I saw quite a bit of Jones at Preston and if I was a ManU fan I'd have my reservations (looks a little slow to me).

But I do think too much is made of Arsenals youngsters though (Senderos, Flamini,Lupoli, I'm less than convinced). But they also do have RVP who is top draw. And they also have Gilbert and Diaby, and from the little I've saw look like they may have a little bit about them.
