Another match that we can definately win if we play well. Its an important game because if we beat them then hopefully we can push for Europe again and start to become more consistant in results. Newcastle have a lot of injury problems but Emre and Parker are back from injuries. Reyna and Mills are still out through injury but they should both be back in a couple of weeks or so.

As I write we've just gone up 2-0.
Still, today's lineup confuses me. How do we line up with a midfield of JB, Sinclair, Musampa and Riera? Isn't that one too many on the left and noone used to playing straight in front of JB? Is Jihai in the midfield today? Would that bring balance?

Based on the derby game and what I'm hearing right now, I like Riera a lot.

Vasell with the 3rd.
And Samaras is about to make his City debut.

Joey Barton was just substituted out, and the response from the crowd was decidely mixed.

That's it. There was so little doubt at the end that they spent the list minute talking about the Barton business and about how miserable Newcastle was.

Great Performance by City :D a 3-0 thashing of Newcastle! Thats what we like! If Riera continues his good form, Pearce will have no choice but to sign him permanently in the summer! GJ Man City. Well done to the Vassell and Cole partnership up-front! Proved a massive success again tonight and well done to Riera for the goal and Barton for an assist.
