A player often linked with a move to Chelsea. . .Tottenham have tabled a £20.5m offer for Spain and Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres
Torres? Yay or Nay?
any decent Italian strikers out there (the search for the new Zola)

will probably need its own thread - I'm sure supporters of other teams have a lot to say on this issue

Chelsea rejected United and Lyn's claims last night, insisting that they had merely monitored the player with a view to signing him if Fifa upheld his complaint. They maintain they have acted in accordance with Fifa guidelines.

Spurs are welcome to him. He's grossly overrated.

Apparently ManUtd are asking for us to be banned from certain competitions. They know that's the only way they can actually beat us.

This is FIFA's jurisdiction, right? If that's the case, I really wouldn't mind our being banned from the World Club Championship next year. :p

of course that's it. its not that chelsea are repeatedly breaking the rules and we'd like to stop that from happening, its not that at all.

Any football club, any club at all, complaining about another breaking the rules is.....well, quite frankly...hilarious.

Well, it would be a good situation for SWP to go back and get some playing time but there's just no way we can sacrifice our depth like that. Too bad For Wright-Phillips but it's just the way it is.
