YES Network To Begin Airing Manchester United Matches
YES To Also Air Manchester United Classic Matches & News Program
NEW YORK, NY (Sunday, January 19, 2003)—The YES Network (Yankees Entertainment & Sports LLC), will televise Manchester United matches beginning on Wednesday, January 22 at 7PM, starting with the match against Chelsea (match originally played 1/18/03). The match will be immediately followed by Manchester United Red Hot News, and a Classic match (Man-U vs. Blackburn from 2001-02).
The Manchester United programming schedule will be shown in a block and consist of current Manchester United matches, Classic matches, and the Manchester United Red Hot News (a news show that focuses on the team). The YES broadcast of the Manchester United matches from the 2002-03 English Premiere League season will air on a tape delayed basis.
