He's funny. He only gets close when Tiger isn't playing. The rest of the time, he's like the Spanish Monty. :D

LMAO!!!

I think it's drastically unfair for people not giving Harrington more credit for his two Major wins(*) this year.

Congrats to Pedraig!

*no Tiger

Having followed Padraig's career over the years, it is great to see that he is finally doing it at the world stage. Very good golfer indeed.
Garcia is a choker.

2.5 - 0.5 now. Would be good to see the americans win it again. The whingeing against Faldo's English selections has already begun.

3-1 after the morning, but the Euros are up in 3 of the 4 matches right now, which if it finishes like that it'll be 4 all after Day 1. first time the US has had a lead after friday morning since '91

Pity Harrington is useless when it comes to the Ryder Cup. Complete waste of a spot, yet again.

Well your wish is granted as he asked himself to be rested from the afternoon's fourballs.

USA started off strong but like in the morning's session, Europe is having the better back 9.

Stricker made a clutch putt @ the 18 to halve his fourball. Pretty tight game, 16 holes halved and Curtis not doing very well.

Poulter also being a real captain's pick.

Edit: US endured a nervous end on the 18th, 9-7 going into Sunday.

LOL at the Euros bitching about the crowds, and their opponents at the Ryder. Sour grapes, typical excuses.

The Yank crowds are infamous for their antics, that you cannot deny.

True, but I don't think it was anything massively different then it would have been in Europe. They cheered when the US team made putts or good shots which is the same as they do for any player in normal PGA events.

The Sky Sports bit where they interviewed the Euro players just made them look like children. It was just full of excuses, and none of the crowd behavior directly interfered with their play.

I disagree and it is the polar opposite of what you get in Europe and elsewhere. Suffice to say that the typical Yank 'support' would be thrown off most courses outside of the USA. I'm also not using it as an excuse because that lies manly with Faldo and his idiotic management.

Suppose, I've never golfed in Europe.

That said, nothing the U.S. fans did was over the top (running on the course, yelling during Euros shots, etc) and the lot of your golfers play over here anyway so they should be used to it.

I think the Europeans' main argument was that in Europe, the American players never got heckled/cheered when they missed shots/lost holes. I can't verify that though, as I never watched the thing until this year.

Either way, the blame rests on Faldo for their loss.

being a Ryder Cup captain sucks. Your team wins and the players get most of the accolades (not all though) and when you lose you get most of the blame, if not all.

Just turned on the Masters. What the hell is going on? Tiger was nowhere near the top when I checked the leaderboard this morning.

I can't believe Phil missed that eagle putt a hole ago.

Tiger just made his birdie and is now one back.

Bah, it's either going to be Campbell or Perry now. Wanted a playoff.
