My wife noted that Serena was wearing an Ortho-Evra patch on her right soldier.
Patrice Evra is such a fertile man that they have to create a specific patch just to block his sperm? :D

Vamos Rafa!, went as called at the start of the tournament.
The rain delay is good for Fed though, Rafa has to go all out to finish the match in 3 sets. Fed's serve can prove crucial in the tiebreak.

That's why I hate the tiebreaks in their current format:mad:

Did anybody just catch the jitteryness of Nadal's legs there when he was getting some water? Might be nothing, but it could be interesting if...

Yeah but Federer is making a mess of those little dinks over the net quite a bit. I don't watch much tennis at all, but those 'polished' moves are a huge part of what makes Federer what he is, no?

I don't know what you mean by polished moves but the fact that the depth of Nadal's groundstrokes and the spin and the height on them means that Federer is always going to be on the backfoot to hit a winner. It is not exactly Federer making a mess of it:)

Suppose so. Just from what I know they are both incredibly well-rounded, but Nadal is a little mroe power and Federer a little more technique. Would that be correct?
By 'polished' I meant how Federer plays - he reminds me a bit of a tennis version of Kaka... only very, very consistent.

They are back on centre court. The BBC weather man is apparently saying it should be dry for a good hour or so too, btw.

Federer to win. Nadal can't be dominating clay and then come flying up on Roger's surface...you guys mad? :)

If you want a football-ing analogue, it would be Ronaldo for Nadal and a hypothetical injury-less Messi for Federer. One would be considered a one-trick pony(read clay-courter) who has worked incredibly hard to become a player, which includes making use of superior physical attributes, to become a player the likes of which the world has never seen before imo. The other on the hand is more pleasing to the eye and a potential all-timer(read all surface player).
Obviously, this being tennis, it means the Nadal is a more defensive player.:D
Back to the game, Nadal needs the game to go into tomorrow. There is a lot more zing because of the rain, almost playing like a hardcourt and Federer's serve is going to be impossible to break.
