Nadal is on. Typical performance so far despite Kiefer giving his best in the first set.

lmao..my bad.

I was watching Federer play Ancic in a match 6 years ago..and he lost in straight sets. Didn't find out it was a replay until well after the match was finished..so I'm feeling pretty stupid right about now.

Yeah, I tuned in at just near the end of the third set (I think it was 6-5?). I don't follow tennis and just stumbled across it between programs, but that was absolutely brilliant. His lobbing shot running out of bounds on the third set  !

Too bad the coverage is going to be unbearable now, it's going to be a full-on Murray fap-fest the likes of which has not been seen since Henman in the 90's.

Gasquet was the much better player, he just let the crowd get on his nerves.

There won't be any fap-fest, the difference between the likes of Murray and the Big 3 is too big for him to have a chance of winning a GS anytime in the near future. Infact, even a Master Series with all 3 playing is pretty much beyond his reach.

Either Murray is exhausted from the Gasquet game or he's out of his depth, because Nadal is killing him.

Out of his depth. As I said. the big 3 are in a different league altogether.

He did play an epic 5 hour match just 2 days ago, so you have to take that into account...and if the gulf between the 'big 3' and the others is so big, how come Djokovic's watching Wimbledon at home right now?

Losing to a Safin feeling good about himself is hardly surprising, don't be surprised at all if he gives Federer a good game<he is after all the last player outside Nadal/Djokovic to beat Fed, last player outside of the Big 3 to win a GS>.
Obviously, since that happens once every 3-4 years, the point still holds.

The Williams sisters are just flat out dominating this Wimbledon. Their final should be a really good match.

So who would you be routing for? The hot one, or the... how can I put this... 'other' one?

Let me put it this way, I will be pulling for Serena.

Also, Nadal makes it to the final with Federer again. I still think Rafa is going to take it this year.

The one with the rediculously long legs is how you should describe Venus. I'll be rooting for Serena, but I think this one is made for Venus. If her forehand works like it worked today she should win it. Serena's the better player mind you, but conditions and form would favour Venus if things stay as they were in the build up.

While on the topic. I don't know what anyone sees in Sharapova. She's got the kid sister look, not the hot look. Personally, I find Dimentieva more attractive. That said, the only one on tour I'd go bonkers over not named Kournikova (does she even still play?) is Serena. I'd love to cock her spaniel any day of the week.

Step away from the keyboard; and go to bed.

Venus in straight sets; 5-7 4-6; My wife noted that Serena was wearing an Ortho-Evra patch on her right soldier.

Pretty much as I expected. Venus was able to pull out a tough serve almost every time Serena had a break opportunity.
