Well I guess Wenger got his wish, he doesn't have to worry about the FA Cup or the Carling Cup...now. Too bad, a tough Hammers side is coming to Highbury.
My prediction: 1-1.
Come on Gunners, please prove me wrong and turn this season around. It only takes 1 match to get a great run of football and improved atmosphere.

Pardew has said Dean Ashton will be fit for Wednesday's game. They have a host of attacking options that are more than capable of scoring. This is going to be a tough derby.

Yeah they've been collecting strikers like crazy which I find a bit odd since Harewood and Zamora have been pretty decent with 15 goals between them. The Katan kid looked decent in limited action and Ashton played well last season. They also have a bit of goal scoring in the midfield with Benayoun. That plus a decent defense has helped them do well so far.
I expect another tight game although we should beat them at our house. Hopefully some of the guys who missed the FA Cup game will be back. I'll say 2-1 for the good guys.

although i love my Israeli's on West Ham, i want Arsenal to give the Hammers a beating. We need momentum. i can see a 3rd place finish if Henry and the boys start playing some 03/04-04/05 Gunners football.
2-0 (Henry, Reyes)

This is going to be an absolutely cracking match... end to end stuff I'm sure... I think it will be one of the best matches of the season... will Henry be fit for this? interesting to see how Anton does against him if Henry is fit.

Grrrrrrrrr:mad: FSC switched this match to New Castle vs City! I was looking forward to watching this.Yeah that sucks. I guess they want to have the match that leads to Souey getting fired on tv. ;) Oh well. Is this because of a change in the coverage in england or a stupid decision by the ManU/Chelski-loving, Arsenal-hating gloryhunters at FSC?
Loved their comment on our loss yesterday: "Champs to Chumps" Idiots. Yeah I guess losing to a single goal against a team one point behind us in the standings is being a chump. Pathetic coverage but thats normal for them.

I'm surpised at the caution around here. I thinking that playing at home, coupled with the fact that we'll have our fur up over coughing up the Cup, will lead to an entertaining win. 2-0 to the Arse! Is Cvnty playing?

IMO this should be the line up
Seaman
Dixon - Adams - Keown - Winterburn
Oldskool Freddie - Mixmastermatt - Merson - Overmars
Wright - Henry
Unlikely to happen though!

Its still on SKY so its down to the Fox chelski channel not picking the match. Don't worry though, now you have more time to work on your essay why your the biggest Chelski fan is the US.

We'll win. Based on the fact that I don't fly across the Atlantic to see Arsenal lose at home.

damm west ham always give me a bad feeling......
um 3-1.
early diaby drive from outside area.
zamora 1-on-1 finish past keeper, from another big phil moment, letting the striker out-muscle him, showing us how to make a big man look like a woman.
late 90 min brace from walcott(if he plays)
