I recently watched "The Constant Gardner". I thought it was an excellent movie. Rachel Weiss (I dont know the correct spelling) and Ralph Fiennes were both really really good in it. Its got a very powerful message in it as well. It is a bit of a hard watch, especially in some of the scenes concerning the children from the extremley poor villages, but it is a movie that tries to get its point across concerning very serious issues concerning human testing with previously untested medicine, and it does. The only suggestion I have to anyone intending to watch it is to be open to the odd camera angles that are present in the film. Once you adjust to them, then I think you'll like the movie.

Man, I loved Harold & Kumar to be honest. Not only hilarious on several levels, but a pretty good movie on a 'popcorn' level, kind of like Old School.
Oh yeah, I know plenty o' "white boys" who loved it too, of course. ;)

I'm going to have to disagree with you Achtung. I thought the movie was trash even for a teen comedy. Of course, I don't smoke the ganja but know plenty of people who do and loved the movie.. so maybe thats it.

I've heard it's a movie, and it stars Johnny Depp. That's about it.

Anything with Johnny Depp = worth seeing.
That being said, I haven't heard anything about it.
Oh no, just looked at IMDB, and apparently the movie was made in 2004 -- the fact that it took so long to get a mainstream release is usually a bad sign. There's lots of user praise for the film, both from 2004 and now. It's also the director's first film, so who knows what we'll see from him, especially with the struggle to get this film cut right for release.
See it and report back, please.

I saw Football Factory. Extremely nonsensical and fantastical (at least I hope ) but entertaining nonetheless I thought.

come on now, it's a serious medium. Alan Moore is up there with Shakespeare.

seriously though, do yourself a favor and read some Alan Moore stuff. "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen", "Batman: the killing joke", "V for Vendetta", and most importantly "Watchmen", it's pure genius, and then you'll wonder why the movie versions of the first two are so bad.
Also, Sin City the graphic novels were outstanding in the respective format, but butchered when transferred to the silver screen. In any event, I rule. :p

Layer Cake is an awesome movie. I just watched it the other night and it's so good. Daniel Craig plays the part of the main character so well. It's just a cool ass movie. I have to watch it once more though because I didn't quite unerstand everything that happened in it seing as its complicated. Really good movie though.
