Imho that's the same way I feel about Jim Carrey.. They're 2 guys that when they appear in a movie I get angry looking at them.. Renee Zellweger is the only actress I can claim does that to me...

well, I do think Carrey has talent, his standups before he got big were brilliant and he's believable in the right roles such as Andy Kaufman or the dude in Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind. I also liked his Ace Ventura series.

We all have a right to our opinions.. Unfortunately for you only my opinions are correct....:p

Seriously though Carrey does have acting talent but there's something about him that just gets under my skin...

I don't know how you compare The Wedding Crashers to The 40 year old Virgin, they're two very different comedies, the former was actually worth watching and it had its funny moments, as opposed to the latter in which a storyline and characters were written around insanely stupid humour.

I never compared them, I just said that I found them both to be funny.

On a scale of 1-10, I'd say that "This Is Spinal Tap" goes to 11.

HAH!

"Shit Sandwhich", "Lick my love pump", "Dminor is the saddest of all keys", "How blacker can this get? the answer is none"....all classic lines from a super classic gem.

My wife loves good suspense movies. I'm going to take your recommendation under advisement. This may turn out to be a test case as to whether or not I can trust your movie choices.Trust me, The Descent is fantastic. A funny note is that when it got released here last summer I remember seeing the trailer to it when I went to see Batman Begins... and I thought it looked awful. I paid no attention to it and it faded away, but at Chrimbo I got it as a (completely unwanted) gift off my relations, and only watched it one night because all of the reception had gone from the TV stations for a few hours in our area. After an opening 15-20 minutes that isn't the best (but not poor, either)... the fun started. Trust me, this is the best horror movie made this decade by a large margin and anybody who is into their cinema really would be advised to give it a look.

Incidentally, it took quite a while of telling SirManc to go and watch it until he finally did. Now all of a sudden it's his 'find'? Sneaky bastid, he is...

All the credit still goes to you Bill. Since I've seen it (five times already and I bought the Region 2 dvd which I can only watch on my computer) I've been telling everyone about it. When they ask me how I found out about it, I always say my friend in Ireland recommended it to me.

Just as long as all mention of me ends there. Too much exposure and I'll never complete my plans...

The Jerk was on the other day. While it's not the best movie ever made, it's one of the few where the main character has a dog named shithead. Favorite part is when he's going thru the house after he loses all his money...

"Well I'm gonna to go then. And I don't need any of this. I don't need this stuff, and I don't need you. I don't need anything except this ashtray. And that's it and that's the only thing I need, is this. I don't need this or this. Just this ashtray. And this paddle game, the ashtray and the paddle game and that's all I need. And this remote control. The ashtray, the paddle game, and the remote control, and that's all I need. And these matches. The ashtray, and these matches, and the remote control and the paddle ball. And this lamp. The ashtray, this paddle game and the remote control and the lamp and that's all I need. And that's all I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one - I need this. The paddle game, and the chair, and the remote control, and the matches, for sure. And this. And that's all I need. The ashtray, the remote control, the paddle game, this magazine and the chair."

Yea, i know i'm twisted

Saw advert for that before Ricky Bobby (which I was dissappointed in, even though I think Will is hilarious most of the time... :() and it looks really really funny.
