Well, this one should be nice. No TV at all for it so we gotta get the webcast or follow some text ************. Oh and my soundcard is broken so I'm really screwed. Okay enough bitching.
Somehow we are around 8-5-2 against LA all time. In the Cybersoccernews article towards the bottom you have a quote from Schmid or Vaginas (okay i know thats not the spelling, but he's a jackofff and I don't like him) referring to us as a cold sore that just bothers them no matter how good or bad we are playing.
We are on the road so maybe we'll attack a little bit for a change. And really, this LA team doesn't seem as good as in years past. They are equal or just ahead of us in points and outside of Ruiz they have been struggling pretty badly offensively. Future star (still?!) Albright is out with an injury. Merz has yet to let the Dispatch readers know if McCarty has even practiced since his injury.
Also with the Metros and Fire goin head to head, one of them has to drop some points. So if we can get three here it will be looking up, at least until Wed.

I'm not sure if we've been getting lucky recently, but I'm feeling good about our recent results. Our last 3 league games have been 2-0-1... even though 2 wins against the scum, I'll take it any day. We also advanced in our USOC game with a 3-0 scoreline against the thugish Richmond team. All of these games have been with Busch in net. Is this a coinsidence? I think if we can get control of Ruiz, then we'll really slow down their attack. I hope to see Garcia get into this game, and maybe even start? You bought a new toy, USE IT! I want to see this guy destroy LA on the left flank. Everybody prepares for us as an up-the-middle team, so if we get Garcia in there and pump up the flank play, then we can catch them off guard.

My question is, what do you do with Denton if Garcia takes his place in the 11? Wasn't he originally a defender? Could we use him in the back line? The biggest issue Greg has this season is being completely indecisive on his 11 and positioning this year. He's tinkered all season. Please get it together.

We haven't been able to smash the ball up the middle and consistently score since the days of Stern John. We need to exploit the ability of our cross -- I know that our crosses often times suck. However, if we take more than 2 per game, one of them will be beautiful and end happily...
