So, today's fantasy:
I convince my wife that we should buy cheap tix off SkyAuction and fly London for a weekend just to go the Villa match with the ArseAm'ers.
Problem is, we just decided to can our family spring break trip due to lack of funds in the bank account. :(
:(
Perhaps a cheaper trip to Chicago would work?

No can do, Amigo. I have to travel to TX the week before and to GA the week after the meet-up. Crummy timing. Again.

I was just about to suggest that! Tell the wife sorry we can't afford a family vacation but I'll take these few bills and go to Chicago to meet up with some Arsenal friends! :D ;)

Yeah, I'm actually going to be dipping a bit into the "trip to London" fund, but there's no way I'm missing Chicago now.

The problem with the Chicago trip isn't funds, just that I'll be flying around the country for work for two weeks and the meet-up is right in the middle. Chicago would be cheap for me...i have a lot of friends there. Hopefully there'll be a meet-up next year???

Definitely. We should hold it in different cities each year.

LOL, I would imagine that the trip will coincide with places where there are lots of supporters. Chicago has a bunch of Arse and Mancs about. I'm up for anywhere!

Fortunately I only have to to Downtown Boston a few times a year.
Actually, now that the "transition" part is over, and the exits are in the same places, its a lot easier. When they moved on ramps and off ramps once a month it was crazy.
