i'm reading reviews of the moroccan restaurant we went to, and some of them are really bad!

granted we didn't have much food, but the hummus we had and the taste I had of Judy's food was freaking awesome.

Judy! no we didn't avoid you...dom is right we were soooo phoggy rather groggy that saturday...we could barely think straight. Glad we got to wave to you guys. I had so much fun hanging with you and Allison Tuesday. 'Tequilla/Vodka'....yeah right.

Ok, I believe you. ;)

Actually I was probably best avoided - not driving so I decided to have 5 pints of cider for breakfast.

I had a fun night in Soho with you guys. Just too bad you don't all have more holiday and unlimited cash so you could come 3 or 4 times a season.

It would be permanently your round so we'd put up with you. :D

Though if we drank our way through even a fraction of $88 million I don't think we'd be seeing much of anything.

We were jobbed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

It really hurts to lose to such inferior opposition. Rothliesberger's QB rating was in the low 20's, that's gotta be a record for a winning quarter back.

I'd also like to add that the time out with no time on the play clock was pretty cute too :)

and let's not forget the other touchdown that Jackson had called off. Notice his right foot hit the pylon... video link (http://www.zippyvideos.com/9811195993616706/jacksons_pylon/).

Here's -some- of the reading available on the game: espn (http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=bayless/060205), fox sports (http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/5310192), long beach press telegram (http://www.dailynews.com/sports/ci_3479957), miami herald (http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/sports/football/13801313.htm), chicago sun-times (http://www.suntimes.com/output/football/cst-spt-refch06.html) and wait, yes, even the canadians (http://www.thestar.com/NASApp/cs/ContentServer?pagename=thestar/Layout/Article_Type1&c=Article&cid=1139179810467&call_pageid=969907729483&col=970081562040) got in on the act.

If you're bored take this poll (http://proxy.espn.go.com/chat/sportsnation/polling?event_id=2011) at ESPN.

Now can you really tell me with a straight face that the Steelers deserved to win that game?

my thoughts~

worst super bowl ive ever watched.. just absolutely boring (reminded me of a bad pre-season NFL game).
seattle really deserved to win, as they got hosed by so many calls that were bogus. that penalty on hassleback was comical.
but, i had nothign in it besides a little money, so no big deal....

Dude, let it go. You lost! Did we play our best game? No. That was our worst game of the playoffs. But we made the plays when we needed them, made the key stops and didn't manage the clock like chickens with our heads cut off (did Andy Reid come back to Mike Holmgren's staff?). That's what championship teams do. Remember: we got screwed in Indy on that BS reversal of the pick, and we still held on and won. You have to learn to play through the lousy officiating, bad days by your big guns and playing on the road (yeah, I know that's what it was for Seattle).

If you also think that Seattle deserved to win that game, you weren't watching the same game I was. Dropped balls, lousy clock management, horrid special teams...that doesn't add up to a Super Bowl champion.

I'm not saying this was a well officiated game at all. I am saying though that the great teams overcome that. The fakers sit around and bitch about it.

I feel the need to hide out in the OT forum untill the Nancy's get all their wailing out of their system. You'd think no one's favorite team ever went off the rails?

I know. I stayed away for a bit knowing that martymarts and KozIsCul would be climbing up on the clock tower at this point.
