Not giving a crap about the outcome of the game, my buddies and I came up with a little drinking game. Every time a defender made some sort of excessive celebration after making a play, we took two sips.

We were drunk mid-way through the second quarter.

that's the only way to watch a superbowl!

patriots-panthers a couple years back, we'd drink every time they punted. we were drunk before the second quarter started.

That superbowl sucked. It made me sleepy by the fourth quarter.

Seattle got screwed on the pass interference call. It was the softest of soft calls. You easily could have called illegal contact on the defender a few seconds earlier. Stupid refs.
I heard no other analyst on the broadcast comment either way otherwise. Besides Berman joking to Michael Irvin that he did that on every play of his career, which would seem to indicate his thoughts on the penalty.You do realize that they changed the way that situation is called because Irvin did it constantly, right? In other words, that actually is evidence against your position...which I agree with. ;)

Still Seattle can't really blame the refs too much. The refs didn't make them drop all those balls. I thought your QB was excellent especially early but his WRs let him down over and over again. The refs also didn't make them have some of the worst clock mgmt seen this season. I'm not sure if the ball crossed the line on the Steeler's first touchdown but if it didn't it was about one micron away so the definition of tough call and likely an easy touchdown on the next play if had gone Seattle's way.

Ok time to focus on real football again...until my Eagles are on the clock. :D

Miami was fun, but I spent the entire time going to meet up with people. I had plenty of drinks though.:D I need to go back again so I can enjoy it more without all the 'catching up'.
