everyone is saying pittsburgh, pittsburgh... etc etc...
so you know what im going to do...
laying my $$ on seattle and the points~
They say the smart money is taking the Seahawks and the points. I heard on the radio today that the casino's are rooting for the Seahawks to win, because there is so much action on the Steelers.

I'm not surprised, but you'd expect the line to move a little higher.
I instantly knew the Steelers were gonna be betting line favorites because there are soooo many more steelers fans across the country. In other words, more money going that direction is a given.
If Seattle Casinos had sports books their lines would favor the Seahawks by 10 points. People are -really- optimistic around here.

I'll be rooting for the Steelers, i remember when i was about 6 my mom got me a Steelers varsity jacket at Sears. I loved that jacket, but when i outgrew it i upgraded to the Giants. :)

I'm guessing you didn't grow up in San Diego if you're not a Chargers fan?

Wait...how many points did you score in the playoffs this year? :D
I've got a good feeling about Sunday. Joey Porter's fired up now and I've heard several people today start questioning whether the Steelers can pull it off. Plus Detroit's been turned black and gold this weekend!

You're going down brotha! Joey Porter's fired up over nothing. It seems to be a theme for him this year. He's got a bigger mouth than Mick Jagger. Maybe he can join the stones at half time and sing a few?
Yes, Detroit will be that lovely shade of gold (read: mustard yellow) all weekend. I think the four and a half hour drive might have something to do with it. I heard 100,000 fans are making the trip, sounds like a great party.

Well, he backed it up against both Indy and Denver, so that's what gives me the good feeling.
And yeah, the Steeler Nation is probably the greatest group of fans around. The sheer amount of travel we do is incredible. I've also seen at least a dozen cars here in the OC with Steelers stuff in the back window, so we're represented well here!

What does Love mean?
A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, "What does love mean?"
The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined. See what you think:
"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore.
So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love."
Rebecca- age 8
"When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different.
You just know that your name is safe in their mouth."
Billy - age 4
"Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other."
Karl - age 5
"Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs."
Chrissy - age 6
"Love is what makes you smile when you're tired."
Terri - age 4
"Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK."
Danny - age 7
"Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more.
My Mommy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss"
Emily - age 8
"Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen."
Bobby - age 7 (Wow!)
"If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate,"
Nikka - age 6
(we need a few million more Nikka's on this planet)

I went to the Seahawks-Steelers game here two seasons ago and it was the biggest turn out of away fans I've ever seen at an NFL game. It seemed like 10,000.
Are you from pittsburgh?

Yeah, originally. I haven't lived there for a couple years, but I'm still a Pittsburgher at heart.
