wow, not sure how this came about and from a purely sporting sense, can he still help Liverpool?

This is absolutely fantastic news.

But it still hasn't really sunk in yet.

I need a photo of Rafa parading him around Anfield with the pair of them holding up a scarf to completely believe it.

I texted my nextdoor neighbour "who is huge Liverpool fan, and his reply was 'Jesus has returned to Bethlehem."

Fowler needs to get his confidence back after Cole & Vassell banished him ot the bench for this season, and if he fails to do so this could damage his reputation/legacy at Anfield. Then again, if he gets back to anywhere near his form of the mid-90's, he and Crouch could form a combination that could be described as "a rich man's Niall Quinn / Kevin Phillips" in the year Phillips put up 30-something league goals.; and you lads with a top finisher right now would be a scary prospect.

I dont think he can play v Pompey cuz he had that hat trick a couple weeks back in the competition, correct?

If he gets enough rest to get his back sorted, and can show Cisse a thing or two about finishing, this could be huge.
