Does anyone have any interest in getting together for a match? Does anyone know of a decent bar that shows them? Alternatively, does anyone have a gigantic tv and a beautiful wife who's willing to wear a short skirt and feed beer to a bunch of gooners?

No, seriously, you can tell her I'm a big tipper...

Does Fado's in Provy show games? There is place in Colchester CT that is fun...and a place in Mystic that shows the PPV games. But Providence is central to RI/CT/MA Gooners?

And my TV is of modest size..and my wife will be too busy keeping the kids out of the living room to serve us a damn thing!

I'll probably watch it in Cambridge, MA...
if I can bear to watch it at all!
Why would we sit Henry in the competition that is our only legitimate chance for hardware?
I just don't get it...

I think we were thinking beyond this weekend, Stag. But I hear you..this might not be the one to rally for.

My wife said that she'd do it, but Texas is a bit out of the way!:D

I don't know Fado's and I couldn't find any listings for it on the web. The closest name I can think of is McFadden's, but I don't think they show games.

What, you don't have any extra frequent-flier miles?

I dream of one day coming to New England to watch the Patriots destroy anyone and When I do come to see it I will make sure I stop by and watch an Arsenal game with y'all

Flights from London to Boston are very cheap and available all the time.

That is true! My brother got a steal from Virgin Atlantic for the Boro game.

But seriously. I think maybe NE gooners should mobilize for Liverpool at home March 11th? I am on the border of New York, but I'll travel to Boston or Providence area. Let's do this like Buddists.

At least you have football pubs close by, the closest pub for me is in Canada or almost 2 hours away in Cleveland.

Yeah, OK Mr. "I get to stay home with my family and drink Argentinian Wines while listening and watching arsenal while the rest of these Arses have to read Carling cup PLP from Teso while doing their dead end jobs." :D

LMAO....ouch. Actually, only got to listen on-line. Also the cr#p cable we have here in corporate housing doesn't have FSC or any other footie related channel.

By the way, I do miss teaching.

Sorry...past life. Fado's is in Denver!! :o

I meant Ri Ra? Its by the RI Foundation, downtown. Don't know if they'd be open in the morning though.

Here is a link to venue's that subscribe to Setanta in southern New England. Maybe Quincy is central to every one? I could surely do that sometime.

There was some buzz in the OT thread a couple days ago about a NYC rally for that match. Nothing confirmed yet but keep it in mind.

Thanks for the heads up. I definately want to organize something for Sp*rs April 22, either NYC or Boston.

FYI for NE Gooners - I think the Pour House in Boston would make a good place to meet up.

I'd be up for it. In Rhode Island, I've watched matches on occasion at RiRa in Providence, and they seem up for showing anything on FSC or ESPN. Same goes for Aidan's in Newport, and I believe there is another in Bristol. I don't think there is anywhere in RI to watch PPV matches, though. I am certain there are pubs in Boston/Cambridge that would show matches, and I've heard of the one in Quincy.

Hello Peeps,

I live in Somerville which is extremely close to the Plough and Stars.

These guys in the past used to show games for the usual cover charge. Last time I went there was to watch the UEFA cup final that we lost :(

IF the Spurs game is televised and on PPV, then from what I recall the Guinness is a reasonable pour and I would be up for meeting as many of you who want to make it.
