On becoming green. I know how long you guys have been pushing to differentiate yourselves from the "normies" on the board. Years of writing letters, bugging polititians, hunger strikes, and passing out fliers has finally paid off! I think I speak for all of us when I say it was well deserved! :D :p :D

Lemme add to the chorus of congrats. If anyone deserves it, it is the mods in this beleagured forum. And mad props to Sarabella for the Kermit photo.

There's something unnerving about so much green on the screen in front of me...could be the alcohol talking but it makes the mods seem so much more sinister.

My problem with the green is not that it segregates our community and reminds us, lest we forget, of the unchecked power of our oppressive overlords. It's that it's ugly. It doesn't fit the Big Soccer color scheme. So it's dark blue, light blue, cream, white and . . . kermit-green. Sorry, no. That's kinda hideous. :rolleyes:

I think that instead of changing the color, they should have made the names of the mods about three times the size of everyone else's. That would have been a better symbolic representation of the relationship between the mods and the other posters.
