Just a thought, why are there no club sub forums?

Just a thought, why are there no club sub forums?
Because they'd usually be tiny. Montreal discussion can be found at the forums of www.impactsoccer.com and www.ultrasmontreal.com .

I did not want to start a new thread about this, and considering (right?) that the Impact have been the most succesful Canadian team, I figured I would ask here--how come no Canadian teams take part in CONCACAF club competitions? Is it just a money issue?
I think possibly a good idea to determine who could represent Canada at such events would be to have a quick knockout tournament between the Canadian A-League teams (Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton, Vancouver, am I forgetting any?)
Either way my question is more aimed at trying to find out why you guys don't participate in the continental competition. Did you before?
Thanks in advance for a response.

Hey, thanks for the response.
Yea, my best guess is that it is a money issue, but there have to be teams with less resources that participate.
Either way, I hope somebody helps us with this question.
Help will be appreciated.

As much as pre-season MLS teams struggle in that competition, even more out of season USL teams would be thrashed. The Impact in Feburary are not the same team as the Impact in July.
