In my opinion fully deserved.

I think it's weak. A little passion isn't allowed anymore? FFS, if the away fans can't handle that, they seriously need thicker skin.

In my opinion fully deserved.

from the BBC article: "As the case is not on the FA's new fast-track disciplinary process, Neville may escape with just a heavy fine."

Told you sunshine.

ps. do you wear face paint to Arsenal and England games? What kind of a non-singing middle-class puff do you have to be to start wanting to charge players over things like goal celebrations.

you're probably one of those people who campaigned for Baa Baa Black Sheep to be taken out of nursery schools.

Just waiting for Rio to get his ban and fine for slamming Lily Savages face into a brickwall in the tunnel yesterday (allegedly).

FFS Rio should be knighted for services to football IMO

What a bizarre response - have I touched a nerve?

If some idiot scousers were so incensed that they vaulted the fence and assaulted him who would be responsible? Incitement is incitement.

(Me - Middle Class? If only you knew how stupid that makes you!!)

This is just silly, must be lets charge the Mancs day. I can understand Ronaldo's charge, but Neville? Stupid Scousers deserved to have that Rammed down there throats. If I was a player, I would do the same thing.

What a bizarre response - have I touched a nerve? Not with me, but you appear to be coming close to trolling with your tone. Here's something for you to figure it out: I'm not Achtung, and I'm not Motterman.

If some idiot scousers were so incensed that they vaulted the fence and assaulted him who would be responsible? Incitement is incitement. It's all part of the game. They were giving him abuse all game, and when we won in the dying moments, against the odds I might add, Gary (a truer Manc than anybody else on the team, and more through-and-through than anybody in the big-4 clubs, even Carragher and Gerrard (who were both boyhood Everton fans)) couldn't hold in his passion and had to get them back. He was provoked first, so surely then Liverpool must be charged for their fans' conduct?

Also, I suppose you are incensed by Robbie Fowler not being charged when he taunted our fans after scoring against usa few weeks back? My how the United faithful cried about that one.

It's beyond ridiculous. I honestly hope Gary doesn't apologize.

Bullshit absolute bullshit. What about Gerrard's taunting of Everton's fans in the Merseyside derby? He ran half the length of the damn pitch with his hand to his ear at the Everton fans...are you kidding me? I really really hate the FA...

What's absolutely shocking is that the FA is siding wioth a bunch of drug dealing, hubcap stealing, granny mugging Scousers, over the honorable, patriotic, upstanding citizen that is Gary Neville...

For the most part. I agree that celebrations should be allowed, and Gary didn't do anything terribly out of line, UNTIL he did the pelvic thrusts. Wouldn't surprise me if that put it over the top.

It's tough for a Caucasion to be racist against another caucasion. The truth is the fan said something about his mother I think.

i didn't mean that he was upset that someone called him "cracker". I thought he was po'ed at someone shouting obscenities at a teammate. Or for all i knew an opposing player. Seeing a superstar launch into a flying kick at a fan is cool, i was wondering why he did it.

I believe the Crystal Palace fan in question shouted some kind of abuse, though to this day its unclear whether it was anti-French or something else. Which is the reason Cantona did what he did.
