Having Stalteri in your team tells me that you probably haven't seen too much of that guy this season. He is a poor defender and often gets killed for pace by much quicker strikers;)

Not bad, considering the expected bias toward your own country (and I will be the first to admit that I am equally biased toward mine), but Martinez will get killed in the air playing in the middle. He's an outside back and I think he's only 5'9". I'd push Martinez out to the right side, start Onyewu in the center, and drop Osorio to the bench. (I also think that Keller, who is 2nd best GK in the Bundesliga this season, and McBride, who is scoring consistently in the EPL, deserve more credit, but I won't quibble.)

Lineup represents NT performances..maybe some club
--Borgetti-------Ruiz--
-------Donovan------
-Beas-----------Bolanos
--------Reyna---------
Salcido-Marquez-Gooch-Martinez
----------Keller--------------
Strikers : Borgetti because hes been a consistent scorer for a long time for the Mexis. You also can't take away from Ruiz being great for he Guats even though they did not qualify.
Subs: Eddie Johnson, the guy played only a few Qualifers and stacked up goals at an incredible rate. I added him instead of McBride since Mac was really on/off in Qualifiers.
Kikin, even though im not sold on Kikin the guy is still scrapper and finds ways to score.
Midfield:
CAM: Well it really depends on were your loyalties lie :D ...in the last games ive seen Blanco play hes just been more of a setup guy. Donovan on the other hand is more offensive and is a much better scoring threat than Blanco. Plus one is nearing the end of his career while the other only began his.
LM & RM : Beasley improvement from playing in PSV has shown drastically with the Nats. RM is more difficult, since im going with a much younger lineup I went with Bolanos instead of a slower Pardo. Bolanos still needs some improvement.
CDM : I would of added Blanco but I doubt he has ever played that position. Maybe Pardo but if I had to chose form Pardo or Reyna that would be a no brainer.
Subs: Blanco,Pardo,Gomez,Morales,DeRo
Defense:
LB: Salcido is excellent at LB from the games ive seen him play.
CB: Rafa get his deserved mention and Gooch for his drastic improvement from the beginning of the year.
RB: Martinez
Subs: Gibbs,Osorio,Dolo,Porras,Lewis,
GK: Keller was a machine in Qualifiers, which is why he won US Nat player of the YR. Sanchez to sub

bolanos is a LM > i like this team very US bias but still good , most of these guys are proven in INTL football
i would even suggest Carlos edwards at the right Mid he can play well in intl football

Really?? from what I read i taught he played around RM. Well if that's the case then just thrown in Pardo.
I will agree my middle lineup is very US biased. I just can't find anyone better than Beas at LB and Reyna playing CDM. I guess you can switch off Blanco/Donovan but I still find LandyCakes with much better upside than having Blanco up there.

Cristian Bolaños is a RIGHT wing, or a right offensive midfielder, sometimes Medford uses him in the left and solis in the left just to rotate them against the defenders.
Bolaños should be in everybody´s list, he is just 21 years old, and this will be his first WC... a great future is waiting for him

i should have added bolanos to my reserves. he is not better than pardo so not the starting lineup.

I'm willing to bet you can't find anyone outside Mexico who would rank any Mexican keeper over Keller. I can't see any unbiased person ranking any Mexican keeper over Keller :D. There isn't a Mexican keeper who would even make the US national team. Even Tim Howard who has struggled on Man United would dominate in the MFL. Unless you have a Mexican keeper playing in a top European league they can't compare to Keller or Friedel.

Whats with these mexicans thinking their players are better than anyone elses??? Everyone knows Kasey Keller is a way better keeper than any mexican keeper. On top of that these Mexicans cant even get players in Europe (except for Marquez and Borgetti). The funny part is that they go into the World Cup, thinking they are gonna win it and you have these mexican commentators bragging about how great they play.I honestly would to see Mexico get their asses kicked in the group stages or even better yet loose in a heart wretching elimination game. Then afterwards you have all these mexican commentors quiet and finding someone to blame.........
