This Saturday the lads head to the Northwest to The Haunted House a.k.a The REEBOK to face our Bogey Man, B*lton. BE VERY AFRAID!!!

Honestly, for some strange reason, I think this match is going to be ours. Somehow, someway, we are going to beat Bolton. Don't ask me where I'm getting all this delusional optimism from, but this time we will prevail.

My thoughts: 2-1 to The Arsenal.

0-0 draw. Highlight of the match is Kerrea Gilbert getting stuck in and breaking Jared Borgetti's leg. Oh and Bluto11 getting arrested for a pitch invasion when he steals Allardyce's earpiece. :)

Based on our defence giving away goasl out of nowhere, Bolton by a goal.

Probably 2-1 to bolton.

I am also a little new here, so Hello to everyone from Toronto, Canada.

Hmmm, seems your US bias is coming out there with the Borgetti comment. While he's at it aren't there any Ghanians, Czechs, or Italians he could injure?!

We draw this one.

I'll be there.

1-0 to the Arsenal.

:)

Arsenal are 100% when I see them live in person. ;)

If Arsenal play Chelsea in the FA Cup this season, Gilbert can whack Essien, Cech and Cudicini.

Arsenal.com is reporting that Henry, Lauren, and Campbell are out.:( http://www.arsenal.com/article.asp?article=356852&lid=NewsHeadline&sub=Trio+set+to+miss+Bolton+game&navlid=&sublid=&Title=Trio+set+to+miss+Bolton+game

Arsene sez that we are not going to take a chance in the FA Cup and will save our efforts for the race for CL qualification. I guess that's the right move, but it still sucks.:(

maybe RvP can launch another 'kung-fu kick' and manage to catch fat walrus face in the mouth. it might shut him up for a while.

who am i kidding? he'd keep blathering no matter what.

Unlike me when watching Arse in Philly: 1 draw, 4 losses....:(

n4100 can attest to that.

--------------------Almunia----------

Gilbert--------Senderos-----Djourou?---------?????

Ljungberg-------Diaby-------Flamini----------Pires

---------------RVP---------Bergkamp---------

I dont see us winning this game, simply because the back 4 will be a disaster. In the middle, im not sure about gilberto being there seeing as he may need a rest. Of course Pires and Ljundberg should play as Reyes and Hleb must be tired. RVP should be fresh, and Bergy, well, he played the whole game and must be a lil tired but hasnt played in a while so should be able to play again.

And who will play LB? I know AW said AC may be back for the Bolton game but if not then who?

I can't believe Wenger is throwing in the towel on Cup competitions in order to finish in the top 4. Whatever happened to trying to win everything?
We went from WORLD-BEATERS, to we-better-focus-all-of-our-attention-on- finishing-top-4-because-we-aren't-good-enough-to-win-anything-else!!!

Hey, im glad Wenger did this. If we didnt make CL come end of the season, i could easily see a few players shipping out.

world beaters?

during the invincible season, the only thing Arsenal won was the league. Knocked out of the FA Cup by United, CL by Chelski, and the League Cup by Boro, along with a backdoor sneak-in of the knockout stages.

hardly world beaters

I read that article differently than you. I think he simply means that he won't risk them in the FA cup because their injuries could get worse. That isn't the same as giving up on the FA cup. Just being smart and not risking losing 3 key players for months for the a single game or cup. Bad timing on the injuries but we've had bad luck with injuries all season.

Wenger is obviously resting them with an eye to West Ham at home next week. The result at the Reebok is less important in the long run. Hopefully we can nick it or at least come away with a draw. West Ham's approach next week will be the same as these other teams, strong forwards trying to outmuscle our inexperienced and/or relatively weak defenders. Ugh.

Out: Sol, Clichy, Henry, Lauren, Toure, Eboue, Cesc,
Coming back and possibly ready for this one: Cole, Cygan

BTW, the FA says that JAR ban doesn't start until after the Bolton game.

I'd like to see this lineup:
-------JAR-RVP-----------
Pires-Flamini-Diaby-Ljungberg
Cole-Cygan-Senderos-Gilbert
---------Jens---------------

Bench: Almunia, Djourou, Gilberto, Walcott, Bergkamp

Other available players: Hleb, Song, Quincy, Bendtner, Lupli, and Muamba
