Graham Taylor=new England manager! This is what we need, as he has the passion as he showed in that legendary documentary, and may fire up the players. What do you think?

In terms of his win rate, his record was not that bad. Besides, surely 'Do I not like that'?, 'Can we not kick it?' and his beration of the linesman acusing him of costing him his job on 'The Impossible Job' were cracking entertainment?!

no truer words were ever spoken on these boards.....rep on the way....

I remember one of his first games in charge, forget the opponent,...England kicked off....striker passes to his strike partner....who passes back to a mid field player....who thumps the fcuking thing 60 yards towards the left corner flag....I remember thinking....fcuk me, England are in real trouble with this....do that against Brazil and you won't get the ball again for 5 minutes....that siht may have worked in the dark ages or in the third division, but not any more....and not at a world level....Turnip was a fcuking joke as a national team manager.....I fear ANY of the current crop of English EPL managers would be turnip mark 2.....

Please hire Graham Taylor as England manager. I'm 23 years old and I've never seen Wales beat England in a competitive football match. I was a bit too young for the last one.

Do it for the Celtic! :D

In fairness he was robbed against the Dutch, how Koeman did not get a red card is something I'd still like to know.

We very gladly offer you Ruud Gullit as an alternative. He's available and incompetent. What more could you possibly want?

I think he is faithful to his missus, and therefore totally unacceptable by todays high standards.

Yes, but don't you agree that his documentary was hilarious? Talking of which, since I only heard about it, does anyone know where I can get a copy, as his antics in Holland sounded really funny! We were robbed. England should have had a penalty at 0-0, Koeman should have been sent off. As it was Koeman scored and Bergkamp scored a penalty.

he'd be worse than that. despite his ineptitude, keegan was occassionally quite entertaining and cared. mcclaren is just a big red twat.

Keegan had passion, but was just clueless when it came to tactics.

Eriksson oth is the complete opposite.

We need a man who can combine both. A strong leader and motivator who can tactically thrash it out as well.
