Aguero > Messi
Que piensa los Argentinos? Quien es mejor?

Unfortunately I have never seen Aguero play but I have seen a lot of Messi. In my opinion Messi is a fantastic player already at only 18 and will just get better and better and will in time, IMO, become the best player in the world, I find it hard to believe that Aguero could be even better. The good thing is they are both Argentinian. :D :D

Comparing Apples and Oranges people.. This is a useless thread
Aguero is a Striker, Messi a Wing or creative Midfielder. They will play for each other never in competition against each other on the national team...
BOTH HAVE BRIGHT FUTURES....

Difficult to believe that someone can be more talented than Messi at his age. But then, no jealousies; bring them both in!..

Could anyone please post some links where I could see some goals scored by Aguero, in particular if they could post a link for the 2 goals he scored against River recently it would be much appreciated.

Different styles, different roles, both very polivalent anyway; what's great?: totally complementary. At this moment Messi is better, and his finishing will be like his youngster's days soon, very soon, I bet on that.
But like I said we can imagine a lethal duo for years. Let's hope it becomes true. From am esthetic point of view? and just personal taste? Messi strikes me as Cryuff, and Aguero as Romario/Maradonian sort of player, and I'm more fond of the last two, so I hope Agüerito gets the recognition Messi will certainly achieve in this future years.
Anyway I don't see a Maradona in either of them, even when Messi due to where he is, and moment, and media on him, will be not a bad bet that he can besome even more famous and praise than Dieguito in the future.

To me Aguero is closer to Maradona than Messi.
To me God is closer to Maradona than wither Aguero or Messi.

They can complement each other. They played together in the sub20 WC and were awesome. Obviously they are players of different characteristics. If I had to pick just one for my team, I give the edge to Messi right now, but that may change over time. Both are just getting started, and it is great to be able to have this debate about two young Argentine stars.

Lets say your midfield has Mascherano, Cambiasso, Lucho and Riquelme ... and you have Crespo as your #9 ...
Would you put Messi or Aguero (or Tevez or Saviola?)
next to Crespo?
That's what this thread means.
What would Kun and Messi bring to the team ... then apply it to ANY team. You are comparing different characteristics, but for the same role. ;)
PS: I've said it a few months back ... Kun's technique, speed, ability, vision and finishing put him above of Messi and/or Tevez.

Personally I think Messi should play for Argentina where he does for Barca, wide left, with Aguero playing up front. The great thing about Messi is that he can play wide left or right, in central midfield and up front, in fact in the game against Zaragoza yesterday he started wide left then swtiched to up front and was Barca's best player.

vipnerd,
Of course wide right is what I meant, can't tell the difference between right and left anymore. :D

before i tell you how much i like messi, i want to say that sergio aguero is a helll of a player. after watching a handful of barca games, messi is something very special. his touch, vision and positioning on the field is amazing. he attracts so many players and can easily beat anyone 1 on 1. he's very young and he's a big threat on the field when playing. messi does have the advantage with playing and learning with the best player in the world in ronaldhino. ( it almost reminds me of zola when he went to napoli and learned from diego).
both still have alot to learn but look very promising.
and like i said before, aguero is a hell of a player and i hope he turns out to be the best striker in the world. but for now i feel that messi is the better talent.
