The reason that Yaya isn't and wasn't going to come to Arsenal is this. He needed to stay at Beveren another year to qualify for a EU passport. Beveren needed to sell him and get money, we couldn't afford to have another non-EU player at the club. It's as simple as that. With the news that there may be a change in playing foreigners, there is no way that Arsenal can buy players who may make it who restrict others who will.
