That's what UPN gets for having replaced Nowhere Man (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=127475) (one of the best TV series ever) after one season for Homeboys in Outer Space (which understandably didn't last a season itself).

But seriously, this is sad news. :(

GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!!

I wonder how they're going to sort out the affiliates. In the SF market it won't be difficult...ch44 (Bay Area Cable 12) is affiliated with ch5 which is owned by CBS. So I'm sure 44 will be the CW affiliate, leaving WB20 out in the cold.

Ch 44 will be the CW affiliate, and Ch 20 will become an independent, again.

Too bad that James Gabbard isn't still around...it would be neat to see the dogs and cats back in the chairs looking at the Ch 20 logo.

20 is already preparing for life after WB. I noticed last night during the SaberCats loss to former Santa Teresa High QB Craig Whelihan and the Las Vegas Gladiatiors that they're already calling themselves "TV20" again.

These two networks started when PTEN split, so it isn't that outlandish that they would join again.
