I posted on this last month, and I plan to keep track of it using this thread. Now that the NFL season is over, I can update it. Here's the full list, comprised of the 68 MLB/MLS/NBA/NFL/NHL/WNBA teams:

One thing that distinguishes the Galaxy from other teams is that they've also made the playoffs in MLS's first ten seasons. Do you happen to know how that compares with other leagues?

I'm sure if I should be happy that 4 Chicago teams made it to the playoffs this year :)
or upset that not a single team did it back to back (= no playoffs in 2004) :(

Maybe you should add the Wolves and the Rush to the list ;) (I think they are both on a multi year run)

It's kind of hard to do because the NFL and MLB didn't really have playoffs.

I didn't include Arena football or any other league that's not the top in its sport in this country.

I think I might make another list for consecutive winning seasons.
